Robert Forbuss

Robert L. Forbuss is President of Strategic Alliances, based in Las Vegas, a business and government affairs consulting organization. While teaching high school in his early career, Mr. Forbuss became an Emergency Medical Technician at Mercy Ambulance. He eventually became the owner of Mercy, and grew the company into a multi-state operation providing pre-hospital healthcare throughout the United States. He was a founder of the American Ambulance Association and served as its president for two years. Mr. Forbuss was the founder of Commercial Bank of Nevada and currently serves as a board member of Colonial Bank.

Mr. Forbuss served on the Clark County School District Board of School Trustees from 1979 to 1986 and is currently Senior Vice-Chairman of the Board for The Public Education Foundation. His is the current president of the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Foundation, and serves on the Las Vegas Performing Arts Foundation. Mr. Forbuss served as Chairman of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the Las Vegas Rotary Club and the Las Vegas Boy’s and Girl’s Club. He served on the board of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority for seven years.

Robert L. Forbuss has demonstrated community service, leadership, and financial expertise. As a lifetime resident of Nevada, an educator, a business leader, and a philanthropist, Bob has dedicated his life to improving educational opportunities for the children of our community. His motto has always been two words: “Get involved.”
