The SAGE Commission submits recommendations directly to Governor Jim Gibbons every 90 days. The first report is due to be submitted on September 30, 2008.
First Report to Governor Gibbons
Reno, Nevada, September 30, 2008 -- The first set of recommendations from the Nevada Spending and Government Efficiency (SAGE) Commission was delivered to Governor Jim Gibbons at the State Capitol today. The recommendations represent as much as $500 million in potential savings or enhanced revenue opportunities over a five-year period if all recommendations are acted upon. First year of implementation savings or enhanced revenue potential after implementation costs is an estimated $81 million.

SAGE Commission Survey of State Employees Yields Thousands of Performance and Service Improvement Suggestions
Reno, Nevada, February 20, 2009 --- Of the 3,526 Nevada State employees responding to a survey commissioned by the Nevada Spending and Government Efficiency (SAGE) Commission, an impressive 75% offered specific suggestions on how services, performance, costs and efficiencies could be improved.
